Day 1 Pokhara.

Arrive Pokhara.

Get met at Pokhara airport and taken to your hotel

 Late afternoon orientation walk.

Arrival dinner

Day 2 Pokhara

Pokhara. Peace Stupa. Free afternoon.

Today we take a taxi up to the  World Peace Pagoda. Enjoy the serenity and take in the amazing views

Standing on top of the Anadu Hill, Shanti Stupa adds beauty to the Pokhara Valley. It is a perfect holiday place providing a clear view of the Himalayan rangeFewa Lake and Pokhara city. The hilltop provides a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. TripAdvisor has ranked Shanti Stupa as the second top attraction in Pokhara

Day 3 Pokhara
  • Free morning. Women’s Skills Development Association (WSDO). Children’s Home visit.
  • After an early lunch we take a taxi (20 minutes) to the Women’s Skills Development Association.
  • Enjoy a tour and meet the women as you are stepped through the process of yarn dyeing, weaving and item making.
  • Continue on to a Children’s Home we have a long term relationship with. Help the housemothers chop veggies for dinner the play with the kids as they arrive home from school.
  • Return to Pokhara late afternoon

Day 4 Pokhara

 

Sarancot Cable Car (sunrise). Boat ride (afternoon)

 

It’s an early start (approx 6am) as we get picked up at our hotel and taken to the Cable Car. It’s a 20 minute ride up to the top then some stairs to watch the sunrise from a few viewing points. Some walking required or just do the Cable Car.

Return via Cable Car about 8am after sunrise for breakfast.

After lunch we take a gentle boat ride to Damside & back. Snap that perfect photo of the mountains reflected in the Lake

Village immersion (day 5-11) inclusions.
All meals, transportation and local guide.

Day 5 - Village immersion 1 Gauchok. Mon Village

After lunch we take our transportation to the local market to grab some fruit and veg for our village stay. Then, it’s on to the delightful village of Gauchok (altitude of 1200m). Gauchok is fairly flat which makes for good day walking. It is known for its grain crops and dairy farming.

After arrival you can relax before a guided late afternoon easy walk around the village.

Day 6 - Village immersion 2 Gauchok

Today we visit the local village primary school. You can do as much or as little as you like. Read to the kids, sing songs or play ball games. Any interaction is greatfully received 

Day 7 - Village immersion 3. Gauchok

Today, we go for a morning walk through the village to a delightful waterfall. Some sections are uneven so you can come all or part of the way.

Alternatively, continue at the school

Day 8 - Village immersion 4. Astam, 1600m. Annapurna Eco Village

,Spend the morning at the school or gentle village walking

After lunch we reluctantly bid farwell to Gauchok and head slightly higher to Astam (1600m)

This delightful village has amazing panoramic views of the Annapurna range. 

Relax and take in the panoramic views!

Day 9 - Village immersion 5. Astam 1600m

Why not start the day with a yoga and meditation class. Perhaps a massage?

Guided day walking is a complementary option for as short or long as you wish….it’s all up and down from here though!

Astam is really a place to unwind and ‘hang out’. Plan to give yourself some ‘me time’ here.

Day 10 - Village immersion 6. Return to Pokhara

After breakfast be bid farewell to the mountains and get taken by our transportation back to Pokhara.

Day 11 - Pokhara Free day

Free day  Farwell dinner 

 

Today you can finalise your shopping or take part in the optional activities available such as Hot air ballooning or a chopper ride to Annapurna Base Camp!
